Study Abroad For Highschool

(Side note: if I do not reach my goal to study abroad, rest assured, any money raised will still be put towards traveling and education!) - Hello beautiful people of gofundme! My name is Amelia, I am 16 and a junior in high school. Ever since freshman year my dream has been to not only travel to Italy but learn in Italy, study abroad! I have come across a wonderful program called green heart travel that will allow me to stay with a host family and attend high school in Italy for a semester. By working two jobs over the past year I have already raised $1000 (or the deposit to ensure my spot on the program) but I need your help! Even by fundraising, working, and doing all within my power I am still short for the cost of the trip. This year my dad sold his dairy cows after being a farmer and milking cows for over 25 years. Which set back my fundraising a bit. Before you consider whether you should donate just ask yourself- how many high schoolers do you know that enjoy learning and actually want to stay in school and further their education? I am one of them, it would mean the world to me (literally) if you helped me out today! Even the smallest donation is so highly appreciated!!! (Quick back story on why I love to travel:) In July is 2018 I was lucky enough to spend 15 days in South Africa, learning, volunteering at orphanages and kindergartens, and seeing the wildlife we do not have here in the USA. I was part of a 20 kid program called Peopletopeople and from the moment our bus drove through town at 10:00 PM once our plane had landed I knew I was about to make memories I will never ever forget. I would love to have that feeling again and be able to make even more memories! The photo above is of me in Cape Town S.A. With some of the most amazing children I will ever meet!
