It has always been my dream to have one of my writing projects published...and now is my chance.
First-time author, part-time student, I was finally given a chance to have my book published by Mascot Books . With a proposal written and a contract awaiting my signature, all that is left is to collect the funds to make this a reality. The money I'm raising is to have the book published and the cover art designed.
Anything you can give would be helpful in allowing this dream of mine to be realized. Thank you in advance, and when the book is published I'd be happy to autograph your copy! :D

If you were losing your humanity, how hard would you fight to hold on to it? What would you be willing to do, to give up, to make sure you remained the human you were, rather than the demon you seemed to be turning into? Hope McKinley, former advertising student turned newly undead, finds herself wrestling with these questions and so much more.
In the aftermath of a vampire attack, Hope wakes to find herself in a locked down psychiatric ward. In order to get away from those she now sees as sources of nourishment rather than human beings she absconds from the hospital, but not before sending several more bodies to the morgue.
In her dismayed wanderings she meets another who was sent to find her and bring her into the fold. A fold she never knew existed. Hope finds herself knee deep in the world of the supernatural, complete with shifters, vampires and succubi...oh my.
Struggling with her hunger, Hope battles fiercely to hold onto what little compassion and humanity remains, with the help of others who have learned these skills in the lifetimes they have had to practice. She desperately searches for the answers she needs about this new world when she finds that she is not quite like other vampires. However, no one seems willing to talk, not without a price, and vampires aren't the only things to go bump in the night. Darker demons lay in wait for those who do not conform to what the 'elders' consider proper behavior.
Blood Harvest delves into the depths of the human psyche and grapples with the struggle between light and dark in all of us, as seen through the eyes of one forced out of the human race and fighting to return.
