Save Doodle
#SaveDoodle
I adopted Doodle (HS Doodle Me), a retired racing greyhound who sustained a horrific injury during her racing career, in November of 2016. She is only three years old.
She's had good days and bad days, but she's recently relapsed again to the point where our only options are euthansia or surgery.
We need to get her an MRI, followed by a specialized back surgery called a hemilaminectomy. These are exceptionally expensive procedures, the latter of which is only able to be performed by two veterinarians in the entire state.
I have managed to save a little bit of money since her first relapse, but I am not any where close to being able to save her. We've tried conservative treatments of steroids and bed rest, but our efforts have failed.
I am not ready to give up on her but I need your help. Her prognosis is good as long as I get her in for surgery soon.
Please help me get Doodle the surgery she needs.
I made her a promise that I would do everything I could.
No contribution is too small, and anything you can do to help spread the word is much appreciated.
My Doodle-bug is my world and she's saved my life just as much as I want to save hers.
Please help and God bless.
