Help Me Get To Anime Expo

Hello, my name is Destiny! I am the host of the anime podcast, Getting Animated. I got the amazing opportunity to be press at Anime Expo (July 4-7, 2019) in Los Angles, California. However, I’m going to need some help getting there.
My Story
Back in October 2018 I broke my ankle and had to go into surgery immediately. A rod and screw later I was bedridden for two months unable to work. As you can imagine being out of work has put me back financially. Now that I am past physical therapy and able to walk again I am steadily trying to get my life back in order. As I was out of work I did find ways to better my podcast and working hard as a social media associate for a nerdy company. Seeing that I was approved for a press pass shows my hard work has paid off. Going to Anime Expo has always been a dream of mine. I live and breathe anime and I strive to work in the anime industry. This would be an opportunity of a lifetime for me.

What Will The Money Used For?
The money will help with flight cost. I will be documenting the whole trip for press purposes but if you would like receipts of where your money is going I’ll be more then happy to provide them.
