Pablo Palacios

On November 27th 2018, Pablo began to have some tightening in his chest around 9am, but not thinking too much of it he decided to attend our HS Soccer game. Shortly before the game started the pain was unbearable. Pablo was then rushed to the hospital. Little did he or anyone else know this would change his life forever. A routine chest x-ray was performed that showed a nodule that required further testing. From then, many lab tests, ultrasounds, CT Scans and biopsies have been done all to find out that at the age of 17, Pablo has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Like anyone who has had to hear such terrible news, his as well as his family’s life has been flipped upside down. The doctors have recommended Chemotherapy and radiation for treatment. At this time his Oncologist is still determining the best course of action.

Although Pablo’s family does have health insurance, it unfortunately will not nearly cover all the costs associated with this battle. With the need for doctor appointments, chemotherapy, and radiation Pablo’s family simply cannot afford what will add up to an astounding amount of money.

Pablo is one of the strongest, most self-less people we have ever known and has always given his love and support to those around him.

We are reaching out to family, friends, and the community for help during this difficult time. Whether its prayer, reaching out, or helping offset costs associated with the diagnosis, we thank you for your support and appreciate every single one of you for all the love we have received thus far.
