Yap Day Celebrations in Tamil

Yap Day, an annual event held to celebrate Yap's uniqueness, rich culture, and tradition is one of the most colorful event where local dances, food, games, history, tattoos, crafts, and much more are presented.Yap Day 2014 is currently scheduled to be held on February 28th & March 1st at Tamor, Tamil municipality.
Members of our Tamil Council have voluntarily enlisted Tamil Municipality to host this year's Yap Day Festivities just last month (December 2013). To our sincerest objective and ambitious effort, we the members of the Finance Sub-Committee, a branch of the newly organized Tamil 2014 Yap Day Committee, are hereby petitioning for generous contributions and donations to all willing and able benefactors, whether on-island or abroad, with the pledge that any contributions made will be directed towards the benefit of this year's Yap Day festivities, as well as a for future participation in Yap Day events.
In the effort to establish an initial budget of $3,000.00, essential to establishing various infrastructures for this year's event and hopefully on-going annual Yap Day fundraising programs, the committee is currently organizing various urgent fund-raising activities. However, considering the limited time-frame, it is evident that individual donations and contributions would definitely prove beneficial in our total efforts. Specifically, this initial budget would be utilized towards:
1.) Equipment Rental
2.) P.A. System Rental
3.) Road signs and banners
4.) Food & drinks
5.) Equipment & vehicle Fuel
6.) Facility & Clean-up Supplies
7.) Materials for site preparation
8.) Radio spot announcement
and other provisions and contingencies
Any sum of contributions would be greatly appreciated.
