Hurricane Irma Help

My name is Benjamin Whitten, Im currently located on Floridas west coast in a place called Weeki Wachee Springs. Hurricane irma flooded my area for a few days which caused me to have to take my 5 month old son in which I am a single parent currently and stay at a Quality Inn till further notice. Thanks to a savings I had I have been able to pay for food, price to stay at Quality Inn, gas ect. Over the course of the past month, I was also able to get Disaster Snap Benefits for the month of october which has helped tremendously with food. Im also employed part time at Target. My issue is my savings is basically gone and I do not make enough to get us by staying at the Quality Inn, I applied for funds from FEMA and it is currently pending but its been 2 weeks already and everytime I call, I recieve the same song and dance so I dont know when that will be resolved. I just need temporary help until then for expenses and stuff for my son. For those wondering where his mother is, shes currently serving a 8 month sentence in jail so im at this alone. I just moved here from Connecticut about a year ago so all I have here is a few friends from work. All of my family is still in Connecticut. I dont know whats a reasonable amount to ask for but i figured between $1,000 and $2,000 would suffice for now. I ask any of you who cannot donate to atleast please share this anywhere you can.
