As many of you know Joanne was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer this past December. In February she underwent a radical hysterectomy at Memorial Sloan Kettering. After weeks of recovery, she learned that she now needs to undergo 6 weeks of radiation, 5 times a week with combined chemotherapy.
Many know Joanne as a hard worker who is always willing to lend a hand. As an EMT in various stations across the county she often works 90+ hours a week. Her true dedication shows when she says she wants to try and work through all of this.
Nobody can predict the future or what affect all of this will have on her, however due to the surgery and upcoming treatments, we know that work for her will be limited.
To help offset the daily traveling expenses during treatment, as well as, various bills from weeks of not working; we were hoping that everyone could help show their support to her as she would for anyone else.
We appreciate all the love and support everyone has shown her and our families the past few months.
