Robin The Beautiful

This is a photo of a beautiful human. Not me on the left, but the fighter to the right. I met Robin at the University of Southern Mississippi, some years back. They're a life form like none other I have come across; brilliant, kind....just in sync with all that it means to be a good human. While personal growth has taken me far from their physical embrace, I have yet to forget how they made me feel as a person. You know the type of people I'm talking about. Over the past few years, I've read update after update about her fight with congestive heart failure, and now their possibly fatal encounter with late-stage kidney failure. I hear of how this organ is shutting down, and that organ is shutting down, of how they can't afford medication, nor proper health insurance. This hardship strikes me at my core, because as a child I watched an ill mother fight for her life. Always wondering where the answers to her prayers were, or how a tax paying citizen can be left in the cold. This is a breaking point for me. I don't believe any human on the face of the Earth should be denied access to medicine. Especially in a society...in a nation that throws away so much money. This is me trying to help. As best I can, as best I know how, I can't stand around and watch a good person fade away because of financial issues. Please help. Donate. Share. Comment. *HANDS TO HEART*
