Crystal the 9 year old Quarter Horse went from one of the most spirited horses I know to just about crippled in under 6 months. The vet can’t pinpoint exactly what’s wrong without ridiculously expensive testing, and while we’d like to see Crystal healthy again, if we can’t scrape together the money then she’ll have to be put to sleep.
Crystal has a special place in everyone’s hearts here, from the other horses, to the young 4Hers in our club, to the barn cats, to myself, and her owner, my brother Tristan. Crystal is not only sweet and gentle, but she’s goofy, lovable, and one of the dumbest smart animals I’ve ever worked with.

If we could get the funding to get Crystal on the road to recovery, it would mean everything to myself, the herd, and my brother especially who bought Crystal as a 5 month old and trained her himself. If anyone could donate even something as little as $1, everything would go towards getting Crystal the help she needs.
