It’s More Than A Meal…More Than A Bird
In a couple of weeks, most of us are going to sit down around a table. Many of us with family we love. And we’re going to remember how blessed we are. We will sit around the rest of the day watching football and complaining about how we ate way too much.
At least that’s what most of us are going to do...
Not everyone is going to have that same experience. There are those who can’t afford to celebrate. They may be thankful for what they have, but they don’t have what we have. Their thanksgiving is going to look a lot different than ours.
It’s more than a meal!
6:8 Church has been serving the Clark County community this way for a few years now. And what we’ve seen is much more than a meal. We’re giving out turkeys, but people are receiving something to be truly grateful for. And that’s what we see. Hundreds of people overwhelmed with gratitude because they’re going to be able to celebrate thanksgiving with a feast.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Commit to buying a turkey or a number of turkeys:
$25 provides a turkey for a family
$35 provides a meal for a family of 4
$45 provides a meal for a family of 6+
$50 provides two turkeys
$70 provides two meals
$100 makes you a big bird.
Spread the word:
6:8 Church needs to get the word out to as many people as possible. The nature of Tons of Turkey is a bit hurried because it’s not until close to Thanksgiving that sales and deals start to come out. So, we have to tag team this thing with as many voices as possible. Will you help get the word out?
Donate funds toward turkey:
Your donation during this Go Fund Me campaign will go towards buying turkeys to distribute the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Who We Are: The SixEight Food Pantry is a ministry of SixEight Church in partnership with the Clark County Food Bank.
What We Do: We distribute supplementary groceries to members of Clark County once a week.
Why We Do It: We distribute food to those who need it because God has commanded us to be his presence in our community.
