My Mother's Cancer Diagnosis

My name is Prapatsorn (Aura) Bawel. I was born and lived in Thailand until 2010. I left because I married an American, and now have my U. S. residency. I am asking for your help because my Mother who lives in Thailand is very ill. She lost her Husband many years ago and lives with my brothers in the northern province of Udon Thani.
Recently, she was feeling consistant pain, and my Cousin took her to a doctor in her town. The doctor spent little time with her and diagnosed she had cancer, and wrote in his journal that she should simply go home to die. The doctor did not tell her of the diagnosis, nor did he tell my Cousin.
One month later, my Mother was in pain, and my Brother took her to the same doctor. He took my Brother aside, and told him that he thought she had bone cancer and that she would die soon. If my Mother has cancer, we don't know what type, any precautions she might take, and all she was given was morphine and sent home.
In Thailand, it is not law to tell a patient of any diagnosis, and my family won't tell her. As myself and my Husband doesn't fell this is right, we have booked tickets to Thailand next month to see what we might be able to do. First we need a proper diagnosis, and then if indeed she does have cancer, then we need her to be comfortable until the end comes. Or perhaps she doesn't have cancer and is not getting the treatment she needs. Either way, we believe everyone deserves a chance to make their own decisions.
There is a famous hospital which specializes in Oncology just 20 minutes away from her home in Udon Thani named Aek Udon International Hospital, which is a private hospital and not in the public system which the public system won't treat her or test for a proper diagnosis. As there is no government assistance for private hospitals in Thailand, they estimate that a thorough diagnosis will cost about $2,000 U. S. dollars.
My family has given up on my Mother, but I refuse to do so. As my Husband and I have spent all of our savings on the flights and assistance we can give, we ask for your help to pay for a diagnosis for my Mother. Any help you might give is appriciated greatly.
