Help Rebuild Wendy & Blake's Home

This fund is being set up to help a great family with the financial burden of rebuilding their home after a heartbreaking fire destroyed it and took much more than the material things in it. This is a family that gives so much to its community and now needs it's help and support. On December 30th on Fifteen Mile Rd in Tekonsha the home of Wendy Winans-Griffith and her son Blake Griffith caught fire. As you can see by the pictures the fire was devastating and all of the families belongings and even a family pet were lost. Unfortunately the insurance money that was received went directly to the bank for the mortgage. Even though money is still owed on the mortgage and a payment still has to be made the house is unlivable and will need a lot of work. Wendy is the 3's Teacher for Union Church Play School Preschool Program and the Assistant Director at Union Church Play Ark Daycare Center both in Tekonsha. She is also attending WMU to further her career in helping families. Any and all donations received will be greatly appreciated. There will be a Spaghetti Dinner hosted at Union Church in Tekonsha on January 24th from 6 to 8 pm to help raise money for the family as well.
