Get The Mushin' Mon to Nome

Donation protected
Newton "Mushin' Mon" Marshall is a dog musher from Jamaica and is making his 4th attempt at completing the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Alaska, he finished the race in 2010 placing a respectable 47th out of 71 and attempted it in 2011 & 2013. He is returning this year without his former sponsors and is asking for your help to make it happen. Newton was the first Jamaican to compete in, and finish the Yukon Quest in 2009 and the Iditarod in 2010, He is a recent recipient of the Youth Musgrave Award given to him by the Institute of Jamaica, for dedication to his Sport and Promotion Literacy in Jamaica & beyond, having recently learned to read himself education is very dear to his heart and he hopes to return home with the ability to bring educational materials for his community. There is great cost in supplies and logistics to complete such a grueling race through the wilderness of Alaska. Without the backing of a major sponsor we are hoping to accomplish this through small donations from many people. Our Motto being "Every Little Bit Counts". So please jump on board and help us Mush on down the trail to Nome. Thank You, & Many Blessings to You All.
