Six Ghanaians-Bronx Fire Victims

Tragedy had befallen us in the Bronx on December 28, 2017. The Bronx is mourning the death of 12 people that were trapped in their apartments, engulfed in a blazing fire that killed them, including 6 Ghanians. Our hearts are broken, but we stand united in difficult times. We need your generous giving to support for burial preparations of the deceased. Donations go to the families of Solomon Donkor, Hannah & William Donkor, Gabriel Sakodie, Justice Opoku, and Emmanuel Mensah. The first burial will be on JANUARY 20, 2018

NGPC took the initiative to raise the funds to help ease some of the financial burden from the families, in support from the Ghana Consul General and agreement from the deceased the families.

NGPC and the Consul General will meet with the families to share the funds among them at the Ghana Mission.
