PHS for Connection Youth Services
We're the Pinckney High School Class of 1998. We made it this far, but we remember that being a teen and young adult isn't always easy. We decided as a class to support the youth in our area as part of our 20-year high school reunion. That's why we'll be collecting donations, monetary or otherwise, for The Youth Connection Services in Howell, Michigan. Their mission of providing around-the-clock support for 11- to 21- year-olds in crisis and their families is one we deeply respect and support.
This is also in remembrance and celebration of Rachel Campbell, a Pinckney High School Class of '98 alum, who contributed to the founding efforts of The Connection Youth Services.
While this initiative started as a gift from our graduating class to The Youth Connection Services, we wanted to reach and welcome as many PHS graduates and community members to read, share and consider how they might be able to help in their own way. While GoFundMe requires an amount to be set as a goal, the goal is whatever we're willing and able to contribute. These teens are in need of things like notebooks and toothbrushes, so there really isn't a contribution too small.
The Connection Youth Services is a branch of The Livingston Family Center in Pinckney, Michigan, and is primarily funded by state and federal grants. All services are free, confidential, and voluntary.
Additional information about The Connection Youth Services and The Livingston Family Center can be found through the following links, as well as lists of donatable items.

We will be collecting donations until September 22, 2018.
