Everything counts, anything helps.

Some people want love and affection after a long cold autumn day. Some want a kind word and maybe a high-five. Others want that cup of coffee in the morning, brought by their favorite co-worker before they start their work day. A lot of us want all of the above. And why not? Sounds great to me! However, someone who is ill just wants to get well. My friend got her nasty cancer diagnosis almost 1.5 years ago and ever since then I have seen her struggle through a literal hell. To ask strangers and even loved ones for help can be one of the hardest things you have do, but sometimes you simply do not have a choice. Years before her diagnosis she was battling this illness with surgery, treatments and rehabilitation. She's had medication imported, approved by her doctor of course, that's cost a lot of money and I have seen her having to chose to buy food or medication/surgery/treatments/rehabilition for the longest time. If her family and friends could manage this alone, we would. Because we know that people do their absolute best to take care of their own issues. However, it has come to the point where it's impossible. Bills are lining up and if you want a surgery before it's too late here, you sometimes have to pay for it yourself. Which has been the case in this situtation for a very long time. She's got a surgery for her throat soon and it needs to be paid by Friday, which is why this is urgent in every way. Please, help us support someone we love so much so she can continue give us joy through her crazy jokes, school us in a game of basketball and maybe even one day say that she is cancer free.
