#MELTHAMCOPPERFIELD
2018 is our Centenary Year and we are having a number of events to celebrate this. As we are sure you can imagine, being a voluntary organisation in today’s society is no mean feat. To kick of this year’s celebrations, we are planning on a fundraising activity that should be both striking visually and ensure the funds to provide a varied and interesting programme for the young people in our community.
We give you #MELTHAMCOPPERFIELD. We have tasked each of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to raise enough donations to fill 1 square meter of our back field with copper coins by Saturday 5th May 2018. This equates to £34 in copper coins. That’s where you come in!! We are asking the community if they would be willing to make a donation of £34 for 1 square meter of our field (or as many square meters that you would like to sponsor) where upon you can fill with copper coins or make a donation on here. Not only will you be contributing to an excellent cause, but you will be helping to build the foundations for the groups going forward...... hopefully for another 100 years.
