We are Melissa & Derek and we bought a bus! All of our designs and planning can be found at 5speedhouse.com
We are looking for help with funding to buy materials to build our first home by hand inside our lovely 1986 International Blue Bird bus, Penny. We plan on using as many recycled materials as possible, but some things such as solar panels, batteries, insulation, etc. must be bought new.
No donation is too small! Even just $5 can supply us with sandpaper and grinding discs, $20 can supply us with boxes of rivets, screws, even harbor freight tools, and every $30 supplies us with welding wire, which we are going to use a lot of!
Our goal reflects what we expect to spend on the entire build project, but we can't get there on our own. So if you support what we're doing and feel the need to contribute, please donate! Also, if anyone has questions there is a contact form on the website, we'd be more than happy to answer them!
