Boilermaker Wheelchair Challenger

Not just a man inspiring others with disabilities. A man inspiring the world!! Aj Timperlake was challenged to complete the 15k boilermaker road race in his everyday wheelchair, for the chance to win a custom made racing chair. Not only did he complete the race under the 2 hr. 15 min. mark, he did it with a broken hip in 1hr. 51mins. Four years ago he was put into his wheelchair after crashing his 3 wheeler off a forty foot ravine, into a creek bed after losing control on some loose gravel. Becoming paraplegic and losing the ability to walk has been a struggle for him. He keeps up an amazing attitude but has lost the ability to do the things he loves . What Aj would really love is to be apart of nature again. Having an off road wheelchair would get him back out into the woods, on the beaches and be able to go hunting and fishing again without the limitations of getting stuck in the bumps and on the sand. So, if enough funds could be raised, it would go toward a chair, a shed to store it (and his new racing chair) and a trailer to haul it. I think he's showed how strong and determined he is to do as much as possible. Would love to make more opportunities possible for him. One day at a time!!!!❤
