Raising Funds For Mitch’s Funeral ❤️

My darling cousin Mitch Clayton hole, lost his life due to drugs. On Friday the 29th of June He went in to cardiac arrest, my uncle called an ambulance and proceeded to give Mitch CPR until the paramedics arrived and took over, they were working on him for over an hour until they found a pulse, in this time Mitch’s brain was starved of oxygen. He then went in to cardiac arrest a second time when he got to the hospital, doctors and nurses managed to stabilise him, they took a brain scan which showed Mitchell suffered severe brain damage. Mitch was in musgrove’s intensive therapy unit for 4days on life support machines. On the Sunday they did further tests which confirmed that Mitchell’s brain had died. Despite Mitchell’s past of alcohol and drugs his organs proved to be in tip top condition so it was not a hard decision for the family to make when asked about organ donation. They kept Mitch on life support until the following day so he could have surgery, his liver and both kidneys went on to save 3 people’s lives, he also had a rare blood group which meant that finding 3 people who needed these transplants was very special. It is absolutely amazing that he was able to do this and gives us all comfort in knowing a little part of him still lives on and he would be so proud if he knew that he saved others. Mitch was one of a kind, he had the biggest heart of gold and always wanted to help others, he will be so deeply missed by every one who met him. He really was loved so much. I have decided to set up this page to help my Auntie Lorraine with the costs of Mitchell’s funeral. As every one knows funerals can be expensive and Mitch was a very very popular guy and his funeral is going to be huge with a large number of family and friends attending.
