Kids Without Educational Gears

We’re 11 international volunteers coming from all over the world to the city of Santa Marta, we’re trying to help these kids from one of the poorest neighborhoods of the city to learn more about the environmental issues, recycling, about basic economics, culture and motivating them to learn english as well.With your help we would like to give those beautiful 50 kids a “school pack” containing a backpack, colors, pens, pencils, highlighters and a water thermos.Since the 12th of June, every weekday, for 6 weeks we’ve been coming to the “La Paz” neighborhood, one of the most vulnerable and poorest neighborhoods of the area, our heart breaks everyday looking at their parents eyes dropping a tear meanwhile thanking us for the effort we’re doing and hearing to the stories of lives.We’re doing our best trying to show them that there is more then what surrounds them. Every little penny could help us trying to get these kids a better life.
