We, the family and friends of Amiyah Kayla Dunston are sadden by the tragic loss of our princess. She was a beautiful, smart and loving girl who touched the lives of all who knew her. Hi, my name is Nicole C Robinson from Long Island, NY. I am the Godmother of Amiyah Dunston, who passed away on 11/8/2015 from being attacked by a pitbull. The reason why many and myself wanted to start the gofund me page was to help my bestfriend and her family pay for funeral costs. This event has truly been rough because we are still in shock that this has happened to her. So as Amiyah's Godmother, the least I could do was campaign for her.
We are over joyed with the amount of donations that we have received in honor of Amiyah and appreciate all that are continuing to come in. We had no idea that we would raise the amount that we have so far but at the same time Amiyah was loved by many. The donations will also assist with grief counseling.
Amiyah was a beautiful, smart, talented child who had a heart of gold. She had an impact on all who met her. She brought out the best in us. It has been an honor to hold the title "Godmother" for her and now she is Our Guardian Angel.
Funeral Arrangements are as follows:
Friday 11/13/2015 3-9 is the wake service
Saturday 11/14/2015 is at 9:30 am with the burial following after service. All are being held at Zion Cathedral Church in Freeport, NY.

Prayers and all the love in the world to the family. It would help save other children if one or more family members could muster the strength to make a short youtube video and appeal to the national media.. CNN, FOX news, and MSNBC to cover Aliyah's death. If you need help contact one of these organizations: Daxtons Friends for Canine Education and Awareness ( an org started by a father that also lost his child to a pitbull attack) and National Pitbull Victim Awareness. These orgs paid for national press release of Aliyah's tragedy as NONE of the pitbull fatalities are covered in the national television news media this year or last, and none of the pitbull fatalities are covered by the Associated Press. They still ignored her death and did not cover this horrible tragedy, even after a press release was paid for and sent out. Amiyah's death is far more important than shark attacks which are much more infrequent and avoidable than pitbull attacks, but ALL shark attacks are covered by national television cable news stations and the Associated press! Communities know about the attacks by Sharks but families do not know about the growing numbers of deaths of children and adults by pitbulls. The national media keeps censoring these deaths to appease wealthy special interests that promote these dogs to benefit breeders and dog fighters. The public does not know that pitbulls are impulsively killing people across the USA because of the censorship. Please demand national coverage of Amiyah's death to help inform families of this risk. People in other states, and communities will not know about Amiyah's tragic death just as the owners and family members that allowed Amiyah around this dog NEVER heard about the dozens of other fatal pitbull attacks on children in the USA this year. If they had know how often these deaths were occurring, they could of chosen to keep her away from the dog. Parents need to know about this growing national danger to protect their children. God surrounds and loves Amiyah now.

Amiyah was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing her with the world. She is now a beautiful angel watching over her loved ones. Please outlaw pit bulls. They are too dangerous to have around our precious children. I pray for Amiyah's family every day. May God comfort them in their time of grief.
I am so sorry for the loss of your little one :( she was beautiful, there are no words i could ever say to help ease the pain but please know we are praying for healing for your family :(
