John Wayne Duke-Marrow Transplant

My little brother, John Wayne Duke, went in to see a doctor on May 4th, 2018. John is young and has always been very healthy and has rarely been to a doctor prior to that date. After blood tests received on the 7th, he was told to go straight to the ER and was admitted to the hospital. A subsequent bone marrow biopsy led to, a same day call, to come to the Huntsman Cancer Center and he was told he would begin “aggressive” chemo right away for Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

John has been in hospital receiving his treatment, since May 16th. He is now preparing for a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.

Any donation amount is appreciated and will be used towards the staggering reality of cancer treatment costs and John's future BMT bone marrow transplant.
