En nombre de ANDREA Y ADRIANA BALLESTEROS ASCANI, grandes amigas, junto a SU PAPA J EDUARDO BALLESTEROS, nos unimos mi hermana y yo a esta causa UNIDOS POR CRISTI.
Mi nombre es Francis Corina Hoffmann, y junto a mi hermana Ingrid Corina Hoffmann, nos unimos a esta causa para ayudarlas a recaudar dinero para su mama, CRISTI. Somos de Venezuela y vivimos en USA desde hace algunos años. Conocemos a Adriana desde el Colegio, desde hace aproximadamente 20 años, su mami Cristina Margarita Ascani Hernández esta atravesando por un mal momento y ahora se encuentra en Venezuela donde debido a la situación del país hace de su tratamiento medico aun mas difícil y por tal su condición empeore.
CRISTI tiene 58 años y fue diagnosticada con cáncer de seno (Adenocarcinoma Ductal Infiltrante GHII GNII. PAAF AXILAR. DERECHA: ADC MT) desde el año 2015. En julio 2016, luego del primer tratamiento de quimioterapia, se le realizó cirugía para extirpar el tumor que quedaba en el seno derecho a través de una MASTECTOMÍA PARCIAL DERECHA. Resultando “sin evidencias de neoplasia maligna”.
El 6 de septiembre del 2017, a CRISTI la diagnosticaron con ADENOCARCINOMA DE MAMA CON PROGRESIÓN ÓSEA (en caleta craneana múltiples, columna vertebral en toda su extensión, pelvis con “especial atención en articulación coxofemoral izquierda”, arcos costales bilaterales y clavículas). Se le colocó tratamiento de quimioterapia con paclitaxel + cisplatino + ácido ibandrónico, el cual no funcionó como deja ver el avance de la progresión ósea en el scan realizado el 6 de junio de 2018.
El deterioro de CRISTI, con respecto a la progresión (metástasis) ósea ha sido producto, entre otras cosas, de errores claves en el diagnóstico y/o en los tratamientos aplicados entre 2016 y 2018, pero hoy contamos con la oportunidad de trasladarla a otro país ( COLOMBIA) para aplicarle el tratamiento una vez que logre recuperarse físicamente, de los daños que le han causado los tratamientos anteriores a este para viajar y poder tener una mejor calidad de vida.
En junio de 2018 su diagnóstico es ADENOCARCINOMA DE MAMA CON PROGRESIÓN ÓSEA (en columna vertebral en toda su extensión, crestas ilíacas, ambas articulaciones coxofemorales, tercio próxima y medio fémur derecho, tercio distal de húmero derecho, esternón, según scan óseo 3 fases con 99mTc-HDP). Para lo cual le fueron aplicadas 5 sesiones de radioterapia con un costo de USD $ 800 aproximadamente, además de los gastos en los que se han incurrido para exámenes, consultas y demás diagnósticos relacionados.
Actualmente, nuestra querida amiga Adriana junto a su hermana Andrea Carolina Ballesteros Ascani y su papa Juan Eduardo Ballesteros Minguez necesitan costear un tratamiento "de ataque" y uno de mantenimiento, para que se pueda recuperar y CRISTI tenga una condición favorable para que su medico tratante pueda autorizar su traslado a Colombia donde pueda continuar eltratamiento para su recuperación.
A continuación detallamos lo que se necesita para su tratamiento “de ataque” y de mantenimiento y así una vez finalizado se pueda lograr su traslado a Colombia: * FASLODEX (Fulvestrant) ampollas 250mg. A razón de 500ml x sesión IM cada 15 días como dosis de ataque (6 ampollas), quedando dos (2) ampollas cada 21 días (2 ampollas por mes), cuyo costo aproximado por cada dosis de 2 AMPOLLAS es de USD $700 (referencia Colombia).* XELODA (Capecitabina) CÁPSULAS 500MG, dosis de 3 cápsulas diarias x 15 días del día uno (01) al día catorce (14), para un total de cuarenta y cinco (45) cápsulas aproximadamente, cuyo costo aproximado es de USD $140 (referencia Colombia).
De lo que se pueda recaudar, ademas de utilizar el dinero para el tratamiento detallado, se dispondrá para el traslado de CRISTI a Colombia y continuar con su tratamiento hasta lograr DIOS mediante su completa recuperación.
El dinero recaudado se va a transferir directamente desde mi cuenta de Bank of America a la cuenta de Bank of America del papa de Adriana y Andrea, Juan Eduardo Ballesteros Minguez donde ellos podrán disponer del dinero para CRISTI!

She was diagnosed in 2015 with breast cancer and right now she is in Venezuela where due to the situation of the country makes its medical treatment even more difficult and for that reason its condition worsens.
CRISTI is 58 years old. In July 2016, after her first chemotherapy treatment, surgery was performed to remove the tumor in the right breast through a RIGHT PARTIAL MASTECTOMY. Resulting "without evidence of malignancy".
On September 6, 2017, she was diagnosis with BREAST ADENOCARCINOMA WITH BONE PROGRESSION (in multiple cranial cage, spine in all its extension, pelvis with "special attention in left coxofemoral joint", bilateral costal arches and clavicles). She was treated with chemotherapy with paclitaxel + cisplatin + ibandronic acid, but unfortunately it DOES NOT WORK as it shows the progression of bone in the scan performed in
May 14, 2018. She was diagnosed with BREAST ADENOCARCINOMA WITH BONE PROGRESSION (spine in its entirety, iliac crests, both coxofemoral joints, next third and a half right femur, distal third of right humerus, sternum, according to bone scan 3 phases with 99mTc-HDP)
CRISTI has suffered a great physical deterioration with respect to bone progression (metastasis) that has been the product of SERIOUS ERRORS in the diagnosis and / or in the treatments applied between 2016 and 2018. We find an opportunity for her to be treated in another country ( COLOMBIA) and it will be only posible if she manages to recover physically, so her Dr. will allow her to flight from Venezuela to Colombia. On June 6, 2018, CRISTI started a new treatment. Five new radiotherapy cycles in Valencia, Venezuela, for an approximate cost of USD $ 800 in addition to IV treatments, related analyzes and medical consultations.
Currently, our dear friend Adriana together with her sister Andrea Carolina Ballesteros Ascani and her father Juan Eduardo Ballesteros Minguez need help to raise money to pay for an "emergency" treatment and a maintenance treatment, so that it will permit her recovery and CRISTI will has a favorable condition, and her treating doctor can authorize her transfer to Colombia where she will continue the treatment.
