Tetralogy of Fallot

Hi, my name is Viktoria Keisler and my daughter name is Na’Talya Woods. Na’Talya was diagnosed with Tetralogy of fallot and Pulmonary Atresia and not many may know what that is but it’s a heart defect in which the pulmonary valve does not form properly. We found out she had this heart defect when I was 22 weeks pregnant. She was suppose to be born May 26,2018 but she was born April 17,2018 at 35 weeks and 2 days. She weighed 5lbs and 1oz which she was born a preemie baby. Since she was born early they did not know how things would be and this was their biggest fear. She got sent home from MUSC a week after she was born April 23, 2018 She did good for a whole week but May 5, 2018 she got rushed to the emergency room because she was very fussy and she was blue around the lips which is normal with her heart condition. Her oxygen levels were in the 60s so she had to get admitted to the hospital. May 6,2018 she was rushed back to MUSC that morning which she had to get a breathing tube placed, and had to get 2 PIC lines placed because she also had a collapsed lung. She coded twice while getting a PIC line they didn’t think she would make it. She had to get 2 blood transfusions and multiple of x-rays. She had to get breathing treatments and a bunch of medicine to help her. She was in PCICU for almost 3 weeks before she got moved to the step down unit which she got sent home a week later. She came home June 15,2018 and was home for a week and was doing amazing! She came home on oxygen, she had a mg feeding tube and she had gained so much weight which she is now 7lbs 4oz. June 25,2018 she had a tet spell which got her placed back in PICU and she now has a breathing tube once again. All we really want is to be able to do things for her while we have the chance because we will never know when it’s the last time we get to spend with her. I haven’t been able to work because of everything that has been going on with my daughter I’ve been out of work since March since I got put on bed rest. June 30,2018 11:50 pm my babygirl gained her wings. This is really a hard time for me and my family. We’re having a hard time finically.
