Help David Become A PKD Survivor

Donation protected
Davids a strong, reliable, and selfless man. He’s the last person who’d ask anyone for a favor but the first to offer a helping hand. I love him so much it kills me inside. He means the world to me, and I have know idea what I’d do without him. But he’s extremely sick with polycystic kidney disease. It’s a disease inherited from his father where cysts form on the kidneys creating many complications that can result in end stage kidney failure and even death. His father just passed away 2 years ago from the same condition. I told him, “why do you have to be broken for, why can’t it be me?” His response was, “your too emotional, you’d cry all the time.” Which is true, I probably would. I’m Vanessa, Davids soon to be wife and the mother of our 3 beautiful children. My purpose in writing this is to inform everyone of Davids 5% Kidney Function. He’s in desperate need of a kidney and needs the help and support along with much needed prayer from everyone. I’m also trying to reach out to anyone whose willing to be a living donor so that he could live a better, healthier and longer life. It’s difficult for him to do the most simplest things like walk around the grocery store or walk up and down the stairs. Our 2 beautiful and thoughtful girls, Emily - 9 and Alisia - 8 came up with an idea all by themselves to put up a lemonade stand. The sign said, “Lemonade stan for Donations for my Daddy’s Kidneys, Thank You for your cooperation.” It was so amazing to find out that our girls would put their playtime aside to inform complete strangers about their daddy’s condition. I love you girls. So basically if all else fails, I plan on donating my kidney to him if I’m a match. And even if I’m not, there’s still a way to swap kidneys with someone who is which is called paired kidney exchange. Therefore donations would go towards medical and living expenses for myself and David. I’ve exhausted all my vacation time for past doctors appointments and past sicknesses he overcame. I’m the working momma in our household so time off work wouldn’t be easy. Please continue to pray for my family cuz we’re gonna need it. Thank you for your time. Love you allThe website to check if your a match or possible donor is llu.donorscreen.org.
