A Fresh Breath Of Life (Shea Little)

This GoFundMe is for a very special man. A man that loves God, family, friends, students and his student athletes. Shea Little is an incredible guy who was a gifted high school and college athlete and now an outstanding coach who has impacted the lives of many student athletes. Shea has been a teacher, head football coach and head baseball coach at several high schools throughout Oregon. Shea has a real gift of motivating kids and helping them succeed on and off the field. Several years back Shea was diagnosed with a rare disease called Alpha 1, that had taken away around 70% of his lung function. Shea’s lung function had worsened to the point of needing a double lung transplant. In the last week, Shea received that fresh breath of life with a new set of lungs! Shea has 4 kids and a wife, Naomi. It is a huge blessing to receive this set of lungs. Shea will be recovering over the next year. He and Naomi have to live by the transplant center in Seattle for the next 3-6 months at least, away from their home in Culver. As we all know, medical expenses and everyday living expenses are very high these days. The cost of running 2 households could be overwhelming along with mounting medical bills.
