Lloyd Thyne is an eighth grade honor student at Rogers Park Middle School and was recently critically injured during a storm that has devastated our area. Lloyd sustained a broken femur, fractured clavicle, fractured skull, several broken ribs and a punctured lung after being struck by a large piece of metal roof while attending a freshman orientation at Abbott Technical High School. He was rushed by ambulance to Danbury Hospital and then transported to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. He was recently released from intensive care and his parents have not left his side while he remains hospitalized. This fundraiser is to help the Thyne Family stay focused on helping Lloyd get back to the many things he loves and relieve any financial burden they may be left with.
