I was diagnosed with Severe Crohn's Disease in 2003, since then I have had 7 surgeries, and countless tests. Now, because the Crohn's is manifesting itself in other parts of my body, I'm going to more and more specialists. Their costs are not cheap.

My oldest son was born with crooked legs. Without surgeries, he would have faced a lifetime of bone problems. He has had three surgeries in the last two years.

I am currently on disability. My income is about $900/month. My husband is a teacher. We just can't do it alone any more. I feel as though I'm begging, but there just isn't any extra. At times, I have had to cancel appointments because I couldn't get the copay and gas money together.

We have never neglected our hospital bills. We have always paid them. At this time, we just can't do it any longer. Any help would be appreciated. We are kind people, we just can't afford to be sick any longer.
