Leigh’s Kitties Need a Home Fast!

Leigh Ann Brooks, my beautiful best friend...passed away tragically December 24, 2017 We have pleaded for help in finding homes for these beautiful kitties but it’s just not happening. I do have a few offers to foster the two cats until a permanent home is found. Leigh loved her animals, no doubt, anyone who knew or met her would know that. They were her children. We, friends of Leigh, are asking for help in transporting the cats from Independence, MO to Portland, OR. Flying them out is not an option. Its dangerous for cats, airlines are not reliable on guaranteeing they can travel as a carry on EVEN AFTER YOU PAY THEIR FEE of $125-$200 per pet. We have a friend willing to drive the cats to me. And we have estimated the cost. If anyone knows of any other way to get cats transported, or other ideas or knows of someone traveling by car out this way or even near to Portland...Please contact me.
