Bengal Cat shot, needs amputation
Donation protected
I need help. I'm trying to save the life of my
Bengal cat Sheba. She was missing for about 4 days and finally came
home without use of her right front leg. We took her to the emergency
clinic and found out that she was shot with
a .22 caliber bullet and her leg was essentially shattered from her
elbow up to her shoulder. Somebody had to DELIBERATELY aim at her because she was hit from below.
We had to take the photo out because its too 'graphic'. It is an x-ray which shows the shattered bone and bullet fragments.

They recommended amputation and told us that she would learn to get around with only 3 legs pretty well(she already is). Then the vet told us that they estimated the cost of the surgery to be around 2k-2500 dollars. When told that, we asked for a payment plan, which consisted of 1000 down and the rest when we pick her up. Not able to do this, the vet told me he recommended euthanasia for a cat that was otherwise healthy. I've since called around the entire area for quotes, and I have gotten estimates from $600-800, to $1300-2000 for the entire procedure. The 600-800 is feasible(I think), but will be hard on us. We are asking for any donations. Even ONE dollar would help. Please help make our Thanksgiving a happy one.
