Shoemaker Lamboy Kids

We come to you with a heavy but hopeful heart. The Shoemaker and Lamboy family are grieving. We are trying to come to terms with the events that transpired just last week. To some it may come as a shock, to others, something that was inevitable. The only thing we still hold certain is that this is all in God’s hands, or it would be insurmountable to us. Matt and Kim were married for 17 years this past January. They were blessed with five children. On Thursday, the 19th of April, Matt lost his battle with addiction, when his two oldest daughters found him dead in bed. The details and the questions are many. We still don’t have all the definitive answers. What we know is that he is home with the God he never stopped believing in. What we also know, is that the needs are great. Kim is currently in a facility seeking treatment for the demons that plagued her and Matt for several years. She is grasping for the sobriety that evaded them together in marriage. The children’s physical needs are great. Their emotional needs probably greater. We are praying that God fills them. We know he provides what we can’t. Monetarily, all is lost. Their home, their possessions, their father, and mother all in one day. They left with what they could physically carry. I was appointed Temporary custody of Kim’s 4 Children as I await a court date for permanent. Junior, I and our 4 four children plus Kim’s 4 children are currently residing in our two bedroom apartment. We are actively searching for second jobs to support this large family. We have 3 months to find a larger home to accommodate the children. We are humbly asking others to search their hearts and help fill some of these needs. Anything big or small, or simply sharing this would help immensely. We are trying our hardest to keep these children together. We know God preforms miracles.
