In October 2017 I was diagnosed with ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I am only 3 years old and going through so much that I don't understand at all. I have been undergoing chemotherapy every 2 weeks since then and recently am going through a phase called maintenance and only need chemo once a month at the hospital. I have been handling my treatments well so far. I worked very hard and achieved being in remission in November 2017. But my fight is not over it's only just beginning. My parents are working hard at keeping weight on me, giving me my necessary medications daily. They are trying very hard to maintain some type of 'normalcy' in our families daily life. I have 15 &10 yr old sisters and a 1.5 year old brother who love me and support me every step of the way. Mom was on maternity leave from her job when I was diagnosed and after taking as much time off as she could she had to resign from her job to help my dad take care of me and our family, take me to my twice weekly Dr appointments which consisted of blood work, chemo, and several spinal taps throughout the past few months, ER visits if I had a fever or wasn't feeling well and lots of other things. But regardless of everything going on I keep a smile on my face, joy in my heart, and bravery in my soul. I will kick this cancers butt and fight it so hard that it won't want to come back ever!!!
