Thor the ferret's surgery costs

My little ferret Thor has been losing fur rapidly so I took him in to a vet. After a vet visit and testing, he has been diagnosed with adrenal gland disease.  The vet says he is a good candidate for the only true treatment option, which is surgery.  My parents have helped some but could not help with all, and it's come at a bad time after being hit with a few other unexpected expenses.  Not treating him isn't an option for me as a pet owner.
