Jumped From 3rd Story To Escape Fire

My heart is absolutely breaking right now! I can't think of anything to do but try to do something to show these beautiful women of God how loved they are. Instead of sending flowers I'm hoping the others like myself will read this story and join with me in raising a small gift to help them after such a tragedy. Take a moment and just imagine that yesterday afternoon you were standing on your porch enjoying a beautiful day. So much so, that you take a picture of your backyard from your third story apartment building just to show your friends on Facebook. Not even six hours later you find yourself jumping from that same balcony to escape a horrific fire blazing above AND below you! This is what Elaine had to do. If that wasn't enough, she had to do it alongside of her youngest daughter, Khrysta. I can barely write this without tears in my eyes. This family has been through so much. Elaine has been battling cancer and just completed a double mastectomy. Her and her family gave up so much so that she could fight that battle. Now, she is finding herself and her family fighting a whole new battle... They lost everything in the fire last night. Today, Khrysta is in the hospital nearby and Elaine is in Charleston. Both are in critical condition. I feel like there's not much I can do right now, but my heart is screaming TAKE ACTION! These two women loved me during a time that I felt unlovable in my life. They have been a light to so many others, and I hope you will join with me in taking action now to help carry some of the weight of this burden alongside of them.
