Our children are our worlds and when they hurt, we hurt and we go to great lengths to make them better. Vivian was born with a floppy airway (laryngomalacia). Vivian had surgery at ten months to correct airway (supraglottoplasty). After the surgery she began suffering from blue spells. An exploratory surgery revealed intermittent vocal cord paralysis. Vivian had two more operations of a more exploratory nature and has been using oxygen therapy at night for her apneic episodes. Vivian’s blue spells and passing out have continued and are progressively getting worse. After Numerous MRIs, EEGs, Sleep and swallow studies the doctors determined Vivian will need another surgery May 9th (anterior/posterior cricoid split) Please help the Graeff family relieve some of the medical expenses they will receive along this hard journey.
