My name is Simon Hall and I am a volunteer & Chair at Willenhall Town FC.
We need to raise funds to keep this local and historic Club going into the future.
We are a small group of volunteers, all unpaid who run the Club and manage match days and none of our players are paid. We do not own our own ground but do incur the same costs as other clubs such as rent, league costs, equipment, hospitality, FA costs and so forth.
We have a small group of local sponsors who help us and this is hugely appreciated, more than people realise, but we always have a shortfall and once again we have one this season.
We are a historic Club and reached the final of the FA Vase in 1981 and had the priviledge of playing for our town at Wembley Stadium. We desperately want to continue this proud tradition and over the last few seasons have restructured and downsized to enable the Club to continue.
We have aspirations to develop and get a youth or reserve team set up but before we can think of this we need to ensure the basics are covered .
We understand more than most the constraints of the current economy and our team and Club do what they do to represent the town and for the pride of wearing the red shirt and our town and Club crest.
Your donation will ensure that we can continue to do this and hopefully more in the future.
We once gave our Town a proud and historic moment when we went to Wembley, we desperately want to be able to continue to represent our town.
