Tuff Like Tyce

This is our adorable nephew, Tyce. He is 20 months old and was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), a cancer of the soft tissue. He has a cancerous tumor in his left calf muscle and the cancer has spread into lymph-nodes behind his knee and into the groin area. He and his family will be packing up for Salt Lake to Primary Children's hospital to start extensive treatments on August 11th. He will be receiving chemotherapy, radiation & surgery. Tyce's mom, Amy, is due in November with a baby girl and Tyce's dad, Brad, works for the NHP. They've got a long road ahead of them, but with great help and support, they can make it through. Amy (mom) recently texted me right after they found out Tyce's diagnosis and these were her touching words: "I am still in shock. I can't believe my crazy, active, smart, happy 20 month old little boy is going to be so sick & weak. My worst fear has come true. I don't want to see him hurt. I have no idea how I'm going to do this and be strong for him. "
