Bee Strong, Caio

On March 16th, tragedy struck for five students of St Ambrose campus. Five members of the SAU men’s soccer team were involved in a tragic car accident on their way home from a spring break trip in Texas. All five were transported to the hospital. Four have since been released, but one member, Caio Vasco Mesquita Toledo, suffered extensive injuries that have kept him in critical condition in the hospital.

Caiò is from Brazil and is a fun, loving, caring 20 year old who would go to the end of the world for his teammates, friends, family, and even complete strangers. He has a unique soul that changes the room's energy as soon as he walks in.

His mother, whom is joined with his brother (Marcelo Mesquita Do Valle) and Step Dad, have been able to fly to the US to be with him.

Medical bills can bring a financial burden. The money raised from this page will be used to offset medical expenses incurred and for future medical treatment if needed. We are asking for donations to take that burden off his family’s shoulders while they deal with the unthinkable. Any amount is greatly appreciated. WE Thank you, thank you, thank you for your donation. Anything helps!

If you are unable to donate, please share and keep Caio in your thoughts and prayers.
