On the 31st of January, 2016 Janet Pullman collapsed at home. The only prior warning she had was a headache.
Janet was a busy mother of 3 young girls and headaches were just part of the job of being a busy, working mother. Janet's routine went something like this :
Running her 3 primary school children ( Mackenzie (11), Harmony (10) and Paige (6) )to school every day and picking them up again, Tuesday swimming lessons for Mackenzie and Harmony, Thursday swimming lessons for Paige, Friday Gymnastics for all 3 girls and Saturday morning Softball for Mackenzie.
To add to Janet's busy lifestyle her husband Ashley worked in the mines near Pooncarie , NSW a couple of hours away. He was away during the week and only home on week ends.
Family time was everything to Janet and her young family.
On that fateful day in January, Janet awoke with extreme pain in her head. She had a burst brain anyuerism. Ashley called for an ambulance and in a matter of hours Janet and Ashley were in an air ambulance on their way to Melbourne. Their lives had been changed forever.
Janet underwent lifesaving surgery on that night but did not regain consciousness for 2 weeks. Ashley has been by her side since the incident and their children have been cared for by Ashley's parents.
Janet will require extensive rehabilitation and unfortunately this will not be done in Mildura.
The bills have kept mounting and to assist Janet on her long road to recovery in this trying time any financial assistance will be gratefully accepted.
