Jorena’s “Fight For Life” Fundraiser

Donation protected
I have always lived a life of service to others. I’ve given all I have to helping those in need and stepping up and stepping in when needed in whatever way possible. I am a humble person who’s not accustomed to tooting my own horn in regard to my 30+ years of support and activism for human rights of all kinds, philanthropy, grief counseling, life coaching and spreading compassion and unconditional love wherever I go. But now, I am asking for your help, as I am fighting for my life.

I was recently preliminary diagnosed with leukemia (they thought possibly chronic lymphocytic leukemia), but I am still undergoing a battery of tests to determine what exactly is going on. I am also being scheduled for a second biopsy and testing for thyroid cancer. I will update here as I receive more specifics. I am currently under care at Hope Community Cancer Center in New Jersey. I’ve been fighting for seven years, doing whatever I can to overcome whatever was thrown at me. Having been recently diagnosed with MTHFR single Heterozygous C677T genetic mutation makes me more susceptible to aggressive forms of cancer that are resistant to many treatments. My brother (who was 52 and only 11-months older than me) passed away in September 2017 from many of the same symptoms and diagnosis’s I have. So far they have found:

- Single Heterozygous MTHFR C677T genetic mutation
- Celiac's Disease
- Autoimmune Disease (endocrine)
- Polycythemia
- Histoplasmosis
- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
- Histamine Intolerance
- Multiple thyroid nodules
- Raynaud's Disease/Syndrome
- 1.6 cm in short axis left adrenal adenoma
- 2x3 mm node in right lung (was 8 mm)
- Calcified granuloma in right lower lobe of right lung with additional tiny non-calcified micronodules
- Moderate degenerative changes involve the thoracic spine
- Minimal degenerative cervical spine arthritis. C6 disk pressing on nerve causing spasms/extreme pain.
- Diverticulosis
- Node on base of left thumb (palm side)
- Left Shoulder - Rotator cuff tear (Labral) 7mm wide
- Asthma
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Multiple vitamin/mineral deficiencies
- Gluten allergy
- Nightshade allergy
- Fructose/sucrose allergy
- Soy allergy
- Grain allergy
- Casein allergy
- Mold, dust, allergy
- Carbohydrate intolerance
- Multiple conventional medication allergies (to include most antibiotics and pain killers)

The affects of the last several months have taken a toll on me to the point I’m barely able to function most days. But I still get up and do my best to do what I can, because I refuse to give up. My motto is, “When you get nervous, focus on service.” And that is what I continue to do to the best of my ability.

I have a long road ahead of me, but as always, am preparing to fight with everything I have to stay alive and continue to be of service to others. Dropping my pride is difficult. But what I need most right now is financial assistance. Funds raised will be used for living expenses, out of pocket medical, holistic/alternative treatments, nutrition and travel to/from specialists. I need to leave no stone unturned as I seek out all forms of treatment to conquer this life-altering hurdle. Please consider making a donation and/or share my campaign to help me in my fight for life.

I have so much more to give.

Blessings,
Jorena “Joy” Faulkner
