Hello my name is Consoni Hill I'm 60 years old & my father passed on when he was close to 50 yrs. old. Then my older brother passed on about 3 yrs. ago. Both deaths were due to heart problems. My much older brother had a similar problem, but he has problems with his arm & his leg.  He doesn't have full use of his left arm. The doctor told him it was a strock but not that massive. As for me I'm on a regiment of high blood pressure & cholesterol medication. Having a heart attack is on my mind at times. My 40th class reunion I missed in Whiteriver Jct., Vermont. I have prayed in my cultural way. Every morning before the sun rises from the East I stand facing the East & do my prayers to the heavenly father in the way I believe in him. Through my prayers I have been blessed with many different people that I'm proud to call my friends, espically my classmates. Then there are my tribal members that sing the songs of long ago. Most of these guys have never been East of the Mississippi River. The shipping cost for our equipment to Vermont is close to $300.00, then back again. Our air fare is close to the $370.00 round trip, there will be a total of 8 guys going. Then our fare to Phoenix is negotiable to the person that will take us to the airport. Our plan is 6/23/16 to 6/27/16 for the reunion parade. I am hoping that we can reach our goal by the end April, so we can start making reservations for the flight. Haven't seen my classmates for 40+ yrs. it would be great to see them again. This would also be a cultural exchange from both sides of this great Nation. This would be a great experience for all the guys that have never been this far to Vermont. Then it will also be a great experience for the general public to witness first hand at the cultural side of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. 40 years is to long to be away from my 2nd home in Vermont. The experience that we will have to visiting another part of the country will open these guys eyes. This venture in my life, would mean alot to me. From my heart I miss the classmates that I call my friends, they are the gifts that the heavenly father has given to me & I LOVE them DEARLY. I will be so thankful for everyone in helping with this project that my prayers will be with them through out their years. They will be blessed. From my heart,Thank You for giving.
