Update May 2018:

Daniel passed away May 2, 2018 after facing cancer head on. Daniel asked that our community help to take care of his partner after he was gone. If you are able, please consider lessening the financial burden for Kimberly.

February 2018:

We love you all so much. So many of you have offered to help us with medical and legal costs. Groceries. Comfort items for Daniel.

We can not thank you enough. What feels like moments and lightyears ago has turned our whole life upside down, and your lives too. In mid January, Daniel felt flu-like, and a couple of weeks later, he has a swollen abdomen. Within days, we had a metastatic cancer diagnosis. A few days later we found out it is in the brain, and he has to undergo whole brain radiation before being able to start any other treatments.

We are working with an amazing team of doctors, but even still we keep getting hit with wave after wave after wave of tough news. We are hopeful with recent advances in treatment and we have a long road ahead.
