Chemotherapy denied by insurance
Thank you so much to all of you who have donated and have reached out to me about Gage. It means so much. Gage’s story has had a turn. We went to see the Dr in Salt Lake and a doctor at the City of Hope I’m LA. They told us that he was not strong enough for a bone marrow transplant but there is a particular type of chemo that will help him due to him having the adult form of the disease. The problem we ran into is that it’s not FDA approved for anyone under 18 years old. They are asking me to pay $48,000 a month for a year to hopefully cure him. I’m devastated. It’s so hard to see him suffer. I don’t normally ask for help, but if you know me, you know my boys mean everything to me. I am grateful to be on this journey. It has truly made me appreciate life. Thank you for any help. Love you all.+ Read More
Thank you for everyone’s love and support. I was able to supplement Gage’s meds until his shipment today. We are so blessed. Thank you so much for all of your kind words. I truly appreciate you all.
Thank you so much to everyone for their kindness. It means more to us than you will ever know. Gage is being strong and was able to get meds. We truly appreciate all of the donations and for everyone’s concern for Gage. We are overwhelmed with all the love we have received. We truly appreciate each and everything of you.
I love you all!! People have been asking me for updates about Gage. He is hanging in there. We will start treatment in Salt Lake in a few month but will be going to the City of Hope in LA in the meantime for a second opinion. Getting blood work done and a PET scan done to see how his numbers are. Thank you for all of the love and support. I feel so loved.
