Katie's Angels

My daughter Katie is a beautiful 19 year old girl who has been suffering from a rare form of Leukemia called CML  since 2011. 
Her dream is to become a child life specialist in a Hosptail some day to help other children through this very scary journey.

All traditional forms of medication and chemotherapy has failed to cure her illness. Others have had side effects that prevented her from normal activitiesof daily life, including presuing work or school. Since 2015 she has trialed 3 diffrent medications.

She always has a smile.  She is my Hero. Despite the side effects of the medications and illness she graduated high school missing 11 or 12 days of school.

At this point her only hope is to have a bone marrow transplant which will require a hospital stay of  6 weeks  (depending on how her recovery progresses) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in  Cincinatti Ohio.  If all goes well, once surgery is completed, she will be needing to travel to Cincinnatti Children's Hospital every other day for follow up. This might be needed for one year.

The funds I am trying to raise is so that I will be able to be there to love and comfort my daughter during this period.  Any funds left over will go  towards forming a non-profit to help others in the same situation.

I am currently fighting my employer of record for workers compensation; due to a work injury. They keep Appealing.  This keeps us with limited income and funds to  fix the car we now have.


Please help me be with my daughter when she needs me most.
