Noah Farrelly is 18 years old. Noah, an avid runner and member of the Division I cross country and track teams at Stony Brook University, was crossing a street on campus when he was hit by a car driving along the road. He was rushed to a hospital, but after hours of fighting, fighting for his life, he was declared legally deceased by the doctors. When I heard the news, I was reminded of the saying "only the good ones die young." Because Noah truly is one of the good ones. He is the nicest, most genuine person you would ever meet; easygoing and friendly, but tough and driven at the same time. He will always shake your hand and congratulate you after a race, and you know he's out there giving it his all every time. His parents Jim and Bridgette are the same way, and they don't deserve to have to go through this alone.
