Connor's Fund for Up With People!

Hi!  My name is Connor Steely and I can't believe I have been offered the chance to be one of only 100 members of Up With People this January!  The short video I made explains a littel bit of what Up With People is about.

I hope that the video and this note can convey to you just how much I am hoping to be a part of this program.  The chance to stay with more than a dozen different families over six months in so many amazing locations - and to be able to make a real difference in each of those places - is like a dream come true.

So, between now and January 1, 2016, I need to raise $10,000.  I have been working for the last several months, saving every dollar, but I still need your help.  That seems like a really scary amount of money, but I am hoping that between my job and your help, I can chip away at it and be ready to join the rest of the group in Denver in January.

I know that this is a lot to ask, and I want you to know that I truly believe this can be a life-changing experience for me.  I have met with many alumni of the program and they all tell me that it will be the best thing I ever do.  What I can promise is this: I will share pictures of the awesome people I meet and the amazing things that we do - so that you know your assistance made a real difference to real people - all over the world!
