One of our twin sons, who survived Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, Fetoscopic laser ablation at 19 weeks gestation and premature rupture of membranes at 29 weeks, was recently diagnosed with cerebral palsy caused by an intrauterine stroke. He has minimal to no purposeful movement in his left arm and leg. He requires physical, occupational and speech therapy. He will also require orthotics to learn how to walk and stand. Our insurance either does not cover these expenses or the deductible is enormous, just to have him evaluated. We desperately need assistance with meeting this deductible, $1500.00 an part of the non covered needs, $500.00.Any help is appreciated and we would be so thankful to get these life changing services for him while they can still do the most good.
