My name is Cass, and I’m starting a Go fund me that will reach far and wide to help relieve the financial stress for my best friend Minerva and her husband Dave, due to a horrific motorcycle accident that happened back in July. (It has been reported on television and newspapers).
They, as well as their family members, George and Toma, were taking a beautiful scenic cruise on motorcycles through Wyoming County in the summer time. A man high on drugs swerved into their lane and wiped them out, killing Toma and crippling Minerva, Dave, and George. The three of them were Mercy flighted to the hospital where they spent months, and underwent several surgeries to try and put their broken bodies back together.
My friends are permanently disabled, unable to work and the bills are piling up! Due to the extensiveness of their injuries, further surgeries may be required and the existing medical costs are already overwhelming. There is a local benefit on March 25, 2018 being held in North Tonawanda, New York for them, but this will only take a slight dent off of their Financial burden.
So many people have been asking for a donation page that cannot attend a benefit due to being out of town, or just wish to give a simple cash donation. In Lieu of this, Go fund me is the perfect outlet to offer much-needed support.
